Make your first AI story
In ten minutes, write a short script and shot plan for an animated character. Start with the blue mug example below, then fill in your own. No filming or finished render needed.
BRYWOK / FIRST AI STORY — 10-MINUTE SCRIPT + SHOT PLAN Make a short animated story about a character with one clear feeling and a change at the end. You are writing a plan today; you do not need to film anything or generate a finished video. 0–2 min · Choose a character, place and feeling. Example: a chipped blue mug on a high office shelf, feeling forgotten. 2–5 min · Write a first-person hook and a 20–30 second voiceover with a turn at the end. 5–8 min · Divide it into four vertical (9:16) shots. Keep the character description identical each time. 8–10 min · Copy your script and shot plan. Share the draft with the community when you want feedback. WORKED EXAMPLE · THE BLUE MUG Character: Original stylized 3D expressive blue coffee mug, small asymmetrical chip on its rim, cream-colored inside, simple face, consistent shape and blue color in every shot. No logos or text on the mug. Hook: “They only reached for me when every other cup was dirty.” Voiceover (20–30 seconds): “I used to be his favorite. Then the new cups arrived. I stayed on the top shelf—until the morning he packed up his desk. He left the new ones. He took me home.” SHOT 1 · Forgotten shelf. The chipped blue mug watches from a high office shelf. Voice: “I used to be his favorite.” SHOT 2 · New cups selected. A hand takes a newer cup below; the blue mug stays on its shelf. Voice: “Then the new cups arrived. I stayed on the top shelf…” SHOT 3 · Packing up. The office is nearly empty, with a packing box on the desk; the hand reaches toward the old mug. Voice: “…until the morning he packed up his desk. He left the new ones.” SHOT 4 · Home. The same blue mug rests on a sunny home table. Voice: “He took me home.” Caption: “Some things are worth keeping. Which forgotten object should tell its story next?” IMAGE + MOTION PROMPTS · COPY ONE PAIR PER SHOT 1 · IMAGE: “Vertical 9:16 stylized 3D animation. Original expressive blue coffee mug, small asymmetrical chip on rim, cream inside, simple face, identical shape and blue color across scenes. Alone on a high office shelf, watching the desk below. Soft morning light, simple background, room for captions, no logos or text.” MOTION: “Slow push toward the mug; it blinks and glances down. Keep its face, chip, shape and color unchanged.” 2 · IMAGE: “Vertical 9:16 stylized 3D animation. Same expressive blue coffee mug, same asymmetrical rim chip, cream inside, simple face, shape and blue color. It watches from the high office shelf while a hand picks a newer cup from the desk below. Soft office light, room for captions, no logos or text.” MOTION: “The hand lifts one newer cup. The blue mug only shifts its eyes. Static camera; no new faces or changing shapes.” 3 · IMAGE: “Vertical 9:16 stylized 3D animation. Same expressive blue coffee mug, same asymmetrical rim chip, cream inside, simple face, shape and blue color. Nearly empty office, packing box on desk, a hand reaching toward the old mug. Simple composition, room for captions, no logos or text.” MOTION: “The hand slowly reaches; the mug's eyes widen slightly. Hold the camera steady. Keep the mug's details unchanged.” 4 · IMAGE: “Vertical 9:16 stylized 3D animation. Same expressive blue coffee mug, same asymmetrical rim chip, cream inside, simple face, shape and blue color. The mug rests on a sunny home table, quietly content. Warm window light, room for captions, no logos or text.” MOTION: “Slow push in as soft light moves across the table; one small blink. Do not change the mug's details.” EDIT CHECK · Keep the same mug in every shot. Cut between the four images, leave time for the final line, keep captions readable on a phone, and place music below the voice. Use music you have permission to use. You can stop at the written plan today. YOUR TURN · FILL IN THE BLANKS Character and distinctive details: [ ] Where does the story start? [ ] What does the character want or feel? [ ] Hook in the character's voice: “[ ]” Voiceover (about 55–75 words): “[ ]” Shot 1 · opening image + line: [ ] Shot 2 · something changes + line: [ ] Shot 3 · turning point + line: [ ] Shot 4 · ending image + line: [ ] Caption: [ ] Keep your character description beside every shot. A simple script and four-shot plan are enough to share for feedback; a finished AI render is not required.Join the free community
